New radiance for the University of Duisburg-Essen, a light and colour concept for the university campus in Essen.

Commissioned by the Rectorate of the University, Horst Gläsker has since 2008 been developing proposals for rendering the university's campus in Essen more positive and more attractive. This means, in artistic terms, changing and aestheticizing – through clarity of colour and light – the campus in such a way that a unique, unmistakable atmosphere is created. The aim is to decisively and positively improve the university's quality of life for the well-being both of the individual and of the community as a whole.
